Services Available

Consulting: An initial consult is suggested to go over your manuscript, book proposal, and publishing goals. Follow-up appointments are scheduled as needed.

Coaching/Mentoring: Support and expert guidance is offered to take you through all aspects of your publishing experience. Price is determined either on an hourly or project basis.

Book Evaluation: Your manuscript and/or proposal is read from a publishing professional’s point of view and critical eye as to marketability and content. Author receives a written report and phone consult.

Developmental Editing: The entire make up of your manuscript is addressed including organization, marketability, and current wording. For fiction, plot and character development are the main focus. The editorial relationship is designed to help shape your work to compete in the current book marketplace.

Ghostwriting/Rewriting: For authors who need in-depth rewriting or ghostwriting services, Andrea will refer you to ghostwriters who will work closely with you to write the book you want, the way you want it, while keeping it in your voice and tone.

Platform Building/Branding/Marketing: In order to sell your nonfiction book and to some degree a fiction book, you must have a polished platform and be able to show you are an expert in your field. Branding and marketing materials can add credibility and assist you in obtaining your publishing and business goals. Social network education and resources available.

Perfect Pitch: You’ve finished the book, now what? An impeccable book proposal, enticing query letter, and professional manuscript are the best way to catch an editor’s attention. Many writers fail to realize that book publishing is a business, and that about 98 percent of books submitted end up rejected. Andrea will help you to craft a highly polished query package and refer you to the best matched editors/agents for your project.
