FEATURED AUTHOR: Jane Creswell; Master Certified Coach

Jane Creswell, President of Internal Impact, is an innovator and leader in the emerging field of internal corporate coaching. Her work can be characterized as maximizing the strengths and knowledge of individuals for the benefit of both the person and the organization.
Ms. Creswell leveraged 17 years of product development and management experience at IBM to invent the role of "Organization Coach" and become the founder of IBM Coaches Network - a network of almost 200 coaches in 8 countries.

At IBM, Jane focused her organization on achieving extraordinary results by individual coaching of the leaders at all levels of the organization. The members of that organization became the core members of a spin-off company where Jane was Vice President of Organization Development. In addition to being "the coach" for the company, she led her staff to develop human resource processes that foster a coaching culture within a company.
Currently, Ms. Creswell is utilizing those experiences to help corporations worldwide wanting to establish a long-term, self-sustaining system of internal coaching and reap the benefits of a coaching culture. Her focus is on helping leaders make the high impact transition from merely influencing others to developing excellent leaders who develop excellent leaders. She describes excellent leaders as "those who embody deep personal humility and fierce resolve, influencing success which is felt long after they move on".

Ms. Creswell is also a pioneer in the emerging realm of Christian Coaching.

Working in tandem with Master Certified Coach Linda Miller, Ms. Creswell established the first coaching programs available in seminaries, training pastors and ministry leaders in the art of Christian Coaching.

Creswell and Miller also pioneered a revolutionary, one-of-a-kind program with the North Carolina Southern Baptist Convention to train pastors regarding the value of coaching within the church culture, and the need for congregational coaches--coaches who serve local congregations.

Ms. Creswell also enjoys speaking at conferences to inspire other corporate coaches and corporate employees,

Her latest book, Coaching for Excellence will be published in 2008 and will focus on executive coaching within organizations
